Coaching

Executive and transformation coaching for capable people at serious inflection points.

You can describe the situation.
Not the problem.

That is usually the right place to start.

1:1 coaching and The Mirror Room.

  • Leadership.
  • Wellbeing.
  • Purpose.
  • Transition.
  • Reinvention.

Why people come

Most people who come to me are not stuck.

They are capable, well regarded, and running a life that works from the outside. But something has started asking for language.

  • “The role still fits. I don’t.”
  • “I’m very good at something I stopped choosing years ago.”
  • “Nothing is wrong. That’s the part I can’t explain.”
  • “I know how to keep succeeding. I’m less sure why I’m doing it.”

The work usually begins before the answer is available.

It begins when the old answer stops being enough.

Two ways in

  • Individual

    1:1 Coaching

Private, unhurried work on what comes next.

We work with the question underneath the situation — the one that may have been present for years, but has only recently become difficult to ignore.

60 minutes every two to three weeks. Usually 10–12 sessions.
Long enough for patterns to show. Long enough for the rehearsed answer to run out. Long enough for real change to begin.

  • Small group

    The Mirror Room

Three or four peers over eight weeks.

    Not networking.
Not advice dressed up as coaching.
A confidential room for honest reflection.

60 minutes weekly for eight weeks. Hong Kong or online.

What it is like

I ask more than I answer.

  • I will name the thing in the room nobody has named.
  • I will not rush to make you feel better if the discomfort is useful.
  • You will do more between sessions than in them.

The work is direct, private, and practical — but not formulaic.

I do not believe most people need to be fixed.

I do believe they often need to stop negotiating with a version of themselves they have already outgrown.

Fit

For you if

  • You would rather be challenged than flattered.
  • You are ready to do the work rather than buy the answer.
  • You are willing to tell the truth before you know what it requires.
  • You are capable of functioning — perhaps even excelling — while knowing something important is unresolved.

Not for you if

  • You want a framework.
  • You want a guarantee.
  • You want agreement.
  • You want someone to tell you what to do so you do not have to decide.
  • You want transformation without inconvenience.

One story

One question, followed honestly.

K came to me in Hong Kong carrying a question she had not said out loud. She thought she was deciding whether to move.

She now lives in Tokyo, runs a business of her own, and works in an industry she had never touched.

None of it was the plan.

I thought I was deciding whether to move. I was deciding whether I was allowed to want it.
— K

Confidentiality

The work is private.

I do not share names, companies, roles, stories, or details without explicit permission.

Discretion is not an add-on to the work. It is part of the container.

How to start

Send a short note.

It does not need to be polished.

Helpful, but not required

  • What brought you here
  • Where you are based
  • Whether this feels like 1:1 or The Mirror Room
  • What you are carrying that has not quite found language yet

If it sounds like I can help, we will arrange a 45-minute discovery call. No preparation. No charge.

If it is not a fit, I will say so.

Questions

What happens in the discovery call?

We talk for 45 minutes. You tell me what brought you here. We see what is being asked, and whether working together makes sense.

Do I need to know what I want?

No. Often the work begins because you can describe the situation, but not yet the real question.

Is this therapy?

No. Coaching is not therapy, diagnosis, or clinical treatment. If another kind of support is needed, I will say so.

Is this career coaching?

Sometimes. But the career question is often only the surface.

Do you work online?

Yes. I work in Hong Kong and online with clients elsewhere.

Start

Start with the question you have.

  • Even if it is not the real one yet.
